The conference brought together over 150 students and engineers to celebrate a shared passion in engineering and technology with the aim to open students' eyes to career possibilities.
Our students attended the conference because it is aimed at women in engineering. It was an opportunity for them to network and communicate with other female engineers and discuss some of the difficulties facing women in engineering.
The event allowed CDT students also had the opportunity to meet and network with female role models and be inspired by their experiences and gain an understanding of the percentage of women working in specific engineering disciplines.
