Voice and Influence

The Voice and Influence Team are a team of care experienced adults in paid, permanent posts within Sheffield City Council. We've teamed up with them to demonstrate the importance of social work and its impact on young people across the City and the UK.

Their role

The V&I team support a variety of voice and influence work to ensure care-experienced people are represented, including:

Running a series of groups for those aged 7-25 that are care-experienced.
Coordinating their own Reverse Scrutiny Panel across social care.
Training professionals within the council.
Conducting research into areas where voices need to be heard.
