Profile: Shiqiang joined the Department of Sociological Studies in 2023, having previously studied his MA at Ethics and Public Affairs in Hong Kong Baptist University. His research interests are social policy, social gerontology, and social welfare ideologies.

Research interests: His thesis is the research of the development of ageing policies in China from a perspective of active ageing.
