Ms Chandima Arambepola

Chandima joined the Department of Sociological Studies in 2022. Chandima’s research interests broadly focus on migration and more specifically on migration regimes and their effects on (im)migrant families. Previously, Chandima was the Thematic Lead for labour migration at the Centre for Poverty Analysis - a Sri Lankan research think-tank - and led multiple research projects focussed on migrant workers and the policy environment. She completed her Masters as part of the Erasmus Mundus Masters programme on Migration and Social Cohesion and graduated from the University of Amsterdam and Osnabruck University in 2016.
