Alishba Shuja

Hiya, I’m Alishba! I completed my BSc in Psychology in 2020 from University of Sheffield then came back again after two years to do a MA in Philosophy. I initially came to Sheffield because it is a well-reputed University with leading research and teaching. However, I came back again because I knew from first-hand experience how welcoming, nurturing and  supportive the overall environment is of the University. As a result, I stayed on to work as a Student Recruitment Assistant. I hope to pass on my personal experience and enthusiasm of going to University of Sheffield to prospective students.

Besides the University, the city of Sheffield within itself is beautiful and very green! With a park around every corner, it is great for outdoor activities, a quiet stroll and a peaceful cuppa. Fast paced nature of University life coupled with the calming nature of the city has been a perfect balance for me, which is why I keep coming back to it again and again.
