- Profile
-
Sara is a doctoral researcher examining ecofascism as an online transnational network of extremists and questioning how their ideological narratives have spread and become normalised in British media and political discourse. Her approach is based primarily in political economy with a view to expanding towards a multidisciplinary analysis concurrent with complexity science perspectives.
Her time outside of the academy has involved over 25 years of activist work in and towards systems change, with a social justice framework, and a specialty in the environment and just transitions. As such, her research is geared towards generating actionable knowledge and led by the needs of progressive groups and anti-fascist activists.
