Dr Erica Ballantyne delivers Management Sciences and Marketing seminar at University of Manchester

Erica spoke about her research experiences in the area of sustainable transport and energy.

On Wednesday 22 May 2024, Dr Erica Ballantyne, Senior Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management, was invited to give a seminar in the Management Sciences and Marketing research unit at Alliance Manchester Business School, the University of Manchester.

The research visit aimed to share ongoing research from Erica's interdisciplinary projects and explore potential future research collaborations between researchers in Sheffield University Management School’s Operations Management and Decision Sciences research centre and the Management Sciences group at the University of Manchester. 

Erica gave an engaging talk on "Sustainable transport with Electric Vehicles and transport applications for energy storage and generation". Within her talk, Erica shared her recent interdisciplinary research projects in the area of sustainable transport and energy.

The visit concluded with research meetings with staff and PhD students from the Management Sciences division, with a view to establishing potential future research collaborations.
