Title: "An investigation into the role of information governance in mitigating the risks of money laundering: A case study of the Omani banking section"
My research investigates how can information governance practices aid Omani banks in increasing their capacities in managing money laundering (ML) related data/information so as to be able to mitigate the risks of ML. The study will provide insights into the factors that will enable and inhibit the implementation of IG program in Omani banks; governance practices (i.e, structural, procedural and relational), and consequences of IG on the performance and risk management.
