The University of Sheffield's Vice-Chancellor Professor Koen Lamberts led a delegation to Tongji University, China, this week, accompanied by Dr Malcolm Butler (Vice-President and Director of International), Professor Guy Brown (Professor of Computer Science) and Professor Shuxing Yin (Associate Dean for Internationalisation and Reputation, Management School). The visit was a fantastic opportunity to meet with staff from Tongji University staff to explore exciting new avenues for partnership in both research and education.

The visit follows a meeting in 2024 in which a delegation from Tongji University visited the University of Sheffield to renew a memorandum of understanding and explore potential areas for collaborative research, international summer schools and joint PhDs.
