Juan Mario Díaz

My research is at the intersection of the humanities and social sciences, focusing on Participatory Action Research (PAR) projects in conflict situations. My current research project contributes towards dialogues and building local capacities through participatory research in (post)accord Colombia. This includes contributing to the planning and execution of fieldwork and participatory methodologies; liaising with stakeholders and facilitating relationships with local communities and organisations; providing intellectual leadership on participatory-based academic outputs. This work is complemented by twenty years’ experience teaching in the adult community learning and higher education sectors in Colombia and the UK.
