Quantitative Analyses of Growing Up in Poverty

CWiPP hosted an informal workshop on quantitative research methods of modelling the dynamics of childhood well-being and the effects of growing up in poverty on 1st August 2013. The workshop which was attended by over 20 researchers from different departments in the University of Sheffield. The workshop consisted of informal presentations followed by discussions. Presenters and topics included:

• Robin Purshouse (Automatic Control and Systems Engineering): Agent-based approaches to modelling social systems
• Richard Rowe (Psychology): Behaviour, genetics and growing up in poverty
