Reporting for The Health Foundation, the Coventry University Co-creating health evaluation team produced a useful overview of the development of co-production from its social policy roots through to how it has been applied across health, social care and long-term conditions.

COVID-19 and Co-production in Health and Social Care Research, Policy and Practice, has been created by a diverse set of contributors (service users, carers, and researchers) to illustrate how and why co-production can be a more inclusive way to respond to the pandemic and develop more equitable health and social care. Volume 1 explores The Challenges and Necessity of Co-production and Volume 2 covers Co-production Methods.

The Healthy Lifespan Institute at The University of Sheffield, produced reports to inform development of its co-production and knowledge exchange workstreams. Each contains an overview of co-production and knowledge exchange respectively and provide links to case studies and other useful resources. The full report can be accessed here, and a summary report can be accessed here.

Developed through the National Institute for health research ‘That Co-production Podcast!’ Provides a range of accessible podcasts, covering topics such as using creative approaches, valuing relationships, and the difference between co-p and public involvement.
