Wahab is Theme Lead for Connectivity at Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) North West, University of Sheffield, U.K. His academic background includes an MSc in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a PhD in Dataflow Programming and Acceleration of Computationally Intensive Algorithms from the University of Huddersfield. Wahab has collaborated with industrial companies and academia including BAE Systems Air, Dassault Systemes, aql, University of York, and University of New South Wales on various projects. He is currently leading the deployment and integration of multiple connectivity technologies including 5G, OpenRAN, Wireless and IoT at AMRC. His research interests include connectivity for Smart Factory, Natural Language Processing (NLP), High-Performance Computing (HPC), and Cybersecurity.
