Elliott Woodhouse

Elliott's research looks at the ethics and justice of intentional climate modification, or 'geoengineering'. He is interested in public perceptions of geoengineering technologies as 'messing with nature'. His research explores whether canonical positions in environmental ethics can explain this perception, or whether there is actually scope within these positions for legitimate geoengineering. His other research interests are in political theory, and also in philosophy of education.
