Description

This module will focus on the application of theories of clinical psychology to clinical practice. It will consider different treatment approaches to mental health disorders, and their effectiveness. It will introduce students to the profession of clinical psychology and the different roles that clinical psychologists undertake. The focus will be on common mental health difficulties such as depression and anxiety, but other clinical topics will be considered too with a focus on those on which research is being conducted in the Department.
