Childhood, Young People, Play & Creativity Cluster
This Cluster explores the rich and varied experiences of childhood and youth, focusing on the power of play, imagination, and creative expression.
With early years, adolescence, and young adult research experts in the School and a large PGR community, the cluster offers a space to think and share a spectrum of topics and perspectives. The Cluster will investigate how young people learn, grow, and interact with the world around them through playful exploration, storytelling, artistic practice, and innovation. Makerspace research and Maker{Futures} have a role in this space too. Emphasizing both personal development and social engagement, it is a community of researchers and scholars who invite critical reflections on the cultural, educational, and emotional dimensions of youth and creative play across diverse contexts.
