Professor Nicola Dibben has received an honorary doctorate from the University of Oslo and given an acceptance lecture on the subject of music and environmentalism.
Professor Dibben's talk, entitled 'Fiddling while Earth burns? Musicking and environmentalism', took place on 1 September 2022 in Oslo.
In the talk, Professor Dibben accounted for the role of musicking in the face of climate crisis, both including and beyond its direct environmental impacts.
