Please note that Western Bank Library will be closed all day on Wednesday 24 June. 
The library will reopen as normal on Thursday 25 June. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. 

Opening hours

Monday - Friday: 9am - 7pm

Saturday - Sunday: 10am - 6pm

Library closing arrangements:

Levels 2 and 3 will close 30 minutes before the building closes. 

Summer opening hours

From Monday 15 June - Sunday 20 September, the opening hours for Western Bank Library will be change to the following

Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm

Saturday - Sunday: 10am - 6pm

Research Commons

The Research Commons

The Research Commons (on Level 5 of Western Bank Library) is an interdisciplinary, open space designed for collaborative discussion and research. The Research Commons is designed to facilitate creative working in a neutral space, and can be used for general study or hosting research events.

Please note that the Research Commons will be unavailable for bookings between April 27 - May 31 during the revision, exam, and assessment period.
