Marie Curie Fellow wins prestigious Green Talent award

Green TalentsDr Ana Paula Bortoleto has been awarded a prestigious Green Talent award by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

Dr Bortoleto is one of 20 young sustainability experts to be selected and received her award at a ceremony in Berlin on 15 December, as part of a tour of leading sustainability institutes and research centres in Germany.

Dr Bortoleto is a Marie Curie Incoming International Fellow in the Department of Geography at the University of Sheffield. Working with Dr Matt Watson, she is  further developing her research on waste management, building on existing work in her home country of Brazil, and in Japan.
