Online Registration
Welcome
Students wishing to access help from the Counselling Service, who have not used us in the past, can now register with us on-line. If you prefer, you may still register in person at our main site, 36 Wilkinson Street, by coming in to complete paper versions of our forms.
If you have used our service in the past please do not register using the online facility as we will already have you on our system. Please instead contact us on 0114 222 4134.
If you are not registered as a student with the University of Sheffield, then you will need to contact the Counselling Service at your own institution, or seek guidance from your G.P.
The questions we ask are designed to help us to book an appointment for you. We ask for your telephone number so that we can contact you to book an appointment, and for your email address so we can send you an email if we are unable to speak to you. Please note that some hotmail, yahoo, gmail accounts etc. believe our messages to be junk or spam, so please check your junk or spam folders for emails from us. Some of the questions are designed to help you to think about what you would like help with- and for us to think about how best we could help you- and others provide us with anonymous data for our audit and evaluation processes.
The University Counselling Service is not an emergency service. If you require help immediately please contact your G.P., your local Hospital's Accident & Emergency Department or call 999.
