Sheffield Students' Union's Staff Awards 2012/13

Sheffield Students' Union's Staff Awards provide a fantastic opportunity to recognise the hard work and achievements of staff members and departments who excel in what they do. It is a chance to display our appreciation for the people responsible for the success of our organisation. The awards will offer a special acknowledgement of the individuals and departments which embody the Students' Union's principles and values, ensuring the organisation runs efficiently, yet remains an enjoyable and vibrant place to work.

All staff may nominate for as many or as few awards as they wish, but we encourage you all to dedicate some time to nominate in as many categories as you see fit, ensuring that every deserving staff member is acknowledged. Please feel free to support your nominations with an explanation as to why and how your chosen nominees make a positive impact on the Students' Union.

Some of the awards recognise individuals or departments which dedicate their time to championing student rights and ensuring students' interests remain at the heart of what they do. Consequently, 'Best Student Facing Service' will be the student choice award, determined purely by a student poll. Students will also have the opportunity to vote alongside staff for the 'Service Excellence' award.

Each individual winner will receive a £20 voucher and a certificate recognising their achievements. Each winning department will also receive a certificate. The winner of 'The Students' Union Award' will be awarded with an engraved trophy.
