Calling all Course Reps!

Hopefully you’ve seen the on-line training and now have an idea of what your role is.

The Students' Union will be holding training sessions for Course Reps, in addition to the online training. This will be an hour long session about how to be effective in your role, and will give you the chance to meet other Reps and ask any questions. The sessions will be held by Faculty, with one session open to Course Reps from all Faculties, if you are unable to make the session assigned to your Faculty.

The dates and times are below:

1. Training for Reps in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities:
   Wednesday 26th October 10-11am in Fusion, Students' Union Building
2. Training for Reps in the Faculty of Engineering:
   Thursday 27th October 1-2pm in Fusion, Students' Union Building
3. Training for Reps in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health:
   Friday 28th October 1-2pm, Gallery Room 4, Students' Union Building
4. Training for Reps in the Faculty of Science:
   Friday 28th October 2-3pm, Gallery Room 4, Students' Union Building
5. Training for Reps in the Faculty of Social Sciences:
   Wednesday 2nd November 3.30-4.30pm, Gallery Room 4, Students' Union
Building
6. Training for Reps from all Faculties:
   Monday 7th Nov 3.30-4.30pm in Fusion, Students' Union Building

Also, here's a date for your diaries- the first social for Course Reps will be on Monday 7th November! It's going to be in the Raynor Lounge at 7.30pm - there will be pizza and the bar will be open, and we plan to go to Population afterwards.

Please do come along, it will be a great way to round off the training and you will be able to meet lots of other Reps in a social setting. If you plan on attending, please let me know by sending an e-mail to Rachel.handforth@sheffield.ac.uk - we will need to know how much pizza to order!
