Our degrees with a foundation year offer a route into degree level study for mature students without standard entry qualifications.

About the foundation year

The foundation year is designed to prepare you for your chosen course, building the confidence, academic skills and subject knowledge needed for successful degree level study.

On successful completion of the foundation year (see individual course pages for more information), you transfer to the academic department in which you will complete your degree.
