Sheffield climbs to new heights in world university rankings
The University of Sheffield has secured a place amongst the world’s top 70 universities, according to the latest QS World University Rankings, published by the Times Higher Education Supplement. Sheffield has risen to 68th position up from 102 last year, and is one of only 19 UK universities to make the top 100. This now places the University 12th in the UK.
The rankings rate 200 institutions across the world based on peer review, graduate recruiters’ opinions, research impact, staff and student numbers, and levels of internationalisation.
