Roscoe Hastings, a psychology undergraduate, has been awarded the Chancellor's Medal in recognition of his continued dedication to improving the lives of University of Sheffield students.
The annual award is given to a final year student or recent graduate who has achieved outstanding attainment in academic, sporting or personal achievements. Roscoe received the accolade as a result of his commitment to improving the lives of students, through his role as departmental councillor and as the chair of a number of committees and societies.
Roscoe, 21, said: "I feel honoured to have received the Chancellor's Medal. I have really enjoyed my time at the University, and I couldn't have done it without my supportive friends and the fantastic Students' Union."
