Although creativity can bloom when the pennies are tight, money can come in pretty handy when it comes to running your society. Check out the guides below to find out how to spend your society money and how to get more of it:
As the Students' Union is a charity itself, we cannot fund events or activities which aim to raise money for other charities - itís against the law! Therefore, please do not apply to any of the funds for an event which aims to raise money for charity, as it will be declined automatically.
There are other ways to raise money for charity events however. Contact Sheffield RAG at email@example.com if you would like support to organise charitable events.
Sheffield is full of external organisations that have lots of money, and are willing to throw this at societies and committees.
Please take a look at our 'How to Get Funding and Sponsorship' guide for help with gaining external sponsorship deals.
If you have read the 'How to Get Funding and Sponsorship' guide and pursued every avenue regarding sponsorship, contact Helen Cobb, Advertising, Sales and Marketing Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
