Non Executive Director

Nigel has a  business career spanning more than 30 years and has been dedicated to assisting companies engaged or hoping to engage in international trade and marketing. As an experienced CEO and Director he has a range of executive management skills and experience which he believes will be an asset to the University.

Current role

Nigel is currently a Non-Executive Director with a portfolio of companies including Red Strike Marketing Ltd (international sports marketing), 4I2 Ltd (business & innovation support) and Universal Projects (international project & business capacity building). He is also an accredited consultant to the EU and UNIDO and is the Business Columnist for Mode, a monthly business magazine.

Biography

For 16 years Nigel worked for British and US multi-nationals on international trade and corporate international investment during which he designed and implemented change management, leadership and continuous improvement programmes for group subsidiary companies around the world. For 13 years he was CEO of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce playing a lead role in the regeneration of Sheffield and exporting our experience around the world. In both 2007 and 2009 Sheffield was finalist in the World Chamber Awards.
