| Transport Services will acquire a vehicle for any University department that has a need for such equipment on a permanent basis. |
| The vehicle specification will be tailored to meet the needs of the department and the requirements of current and impending legislation. |
| All vehicles will be maintained in accordance with the manufacturers specified procedures and the University's safety inspection schedules. |
| At the end of the vehicle's life, or if the circumstances change and a department no longer requires the vehicle, Transport Services will arrange for its redeployment or disposal as necessary. |
