Thanks to all who voted in the poll. There was an overwhelming turnout which has proven the engagement you all have with ethical and environmental issues.
However, there has unfortunately been a lot of fraudulent votes which has resulted in the early closure of the poll. The money raised by the collections at our water fountains are to be split 50% between the two charities and thanks to all who legitimately voted.
TASTE are a Christian water charity operating in Nigeria, who deliver clean water through drilling boreholes where shallow wells are unproductive. They also deliver education in hygiene and building simple latrines. They estimate that they have helped 25,000 people.
Dig Deep are focused in rural Central and Western Kenya. They work in partnership with local community based organisations and charities to deliver clean water through boreholes, shallow wells and rainwater harvesting when appropriate. They train members of the communities and facilitate the formation of Water Committees, to promote hygiene education and sustainability.
All the items below are required to implement our next project, which will create a clean, sustainable water supply for over 3,000 people.
